Our Credo

1. Medical professionals and their patients are entitled to up-to-date, balanced information about Down syndrome when receiving a prenatal diagnosis.
2. This information should respect a patient’s right to explore all pregnancy options, including continuation, termination, and adoption.
3. The information should be created with input from representatives of trusted, national Down syndrome and medical organizations, including the American College of Medical Genetics, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
